Works best from the SW or S. Can work on a SSE but you will be paddling a bit to get out of the wind shadow. Additionally SSE are slightly offshore so make sure you are ready for gear failure and bring a phone and/or radio for safety. Note that during most wind conditions the park is relatively sheltered. For this reason and due to it's popularity among other users kiting is not reccomended. You will not be able to safely launch and/or keep the kite in the air

At low tide sea grass may be an issue, but any tide works. High tides are ideal
The launch is relatively short so you will want to be able to ride upwind. Seagrass can be an issue in summer time especially at low tide. in SSE conditions it can be a long paddle to the wind line and gear failure or injury can be problematic
