Depending on mast length you will want a relatively high tide. The Nooksack delta here means much of the area is relatively shallow mud flats

Gusty conditions on easterly winds and if things go wrong you will be blown offshore to the islands and through an active shipping route.

Most of this coastline is private, but you can park in the lot marked and walk West to the water that is public access
